If you'd like to help us spread the language love by contributing to The Lingua File, please send an email to info@thelinguafile.com.

We're looking to add new perspectives and would love to hear from the already amazingly-vocal language community. The Lingua File and its social channels are frequented and followed by a large number of language enthusiasts and we are happy to let you use your contribution reach this niche audience.

We're not huge fans of rules but we do have a few of them for contributors and guest posts:

1: Keep it original

Please don't copy someone else's stuff. If your content has been used elsewhere before, please make sure that you're clearly the copyright holder.

2: Don't Steal Images

A picture can be worth a thousand words. Feel free to use high quality images, just make sure that you either hold the copyright, have attained the copyright or that the images are copyright free. There are plenty of resources to find good stock images and photos. If you can't find any we'll be happy to find them for you. Though they'll probably be of kittens.

3: Keep it Clean

We're not prudes so we don't mind an occasional swearword, if it's necessary. If you can think of a better word to use that isn't offensive, use that instead. We don't appreciate religious, racial, national, extraterrestrial or any kind of intolerance and will not use anything that we find to be too risqué.

4: External Links

We're happy for you to include links to other websites as long as they're relevant to the content of the article. Other external links (like your company) can be included in your author bio at the end of the article.

5: Include a Bio

Tell us who you are, what you do, and why you love languages. Just a few words at the end of your article will suffice.
